COURSE DESCRIPTION

Participants in this course will complete a clinical case review of treatment and legal implications for a disordered gambling client. Course content clinical case review includes:

  • Exploring the psychological evaluation.
  • Advanced treatment planning.
  • Rambeck-Shears Sentence Completion Questionnaire.
  • The House-Tree-Person Projective test.
  • Overview of current legal thinking on disordered gambling criminal court sentencing.

The course also explores recommended treatment interventions based on strengths and needs in the areas of personal, interpersonal, vocational, financial and legal needs.
