Lynn John Rambeck, Psy. D., CAS, received his Doctor of Clinical Psychology degree from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology, Chicago, Illinois.

In 1988, after receiving specialized training by medical director, Robert Custer, M.D., at Baltimore's Taylor Manor Hospital, Dr. Rambeck began providing gambling addiction treatment in conjunction with his private clinical practice in Minnesota.

For over a decade, Dr. Rambeck has provided accredited, clinical gambling addiction-specific training to an array of mental health providers and addiction treatment facilities, including Hazelden, as well departments of mental health for the States of Georgia, Minnesota, South Dakota, Michigan, Arizona, and the Canadian provinces of Manitoba, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island and Alberta.

He has provided training for colleges and universities, which includes the Tulane School of Medicine, Department of Psychiatry and Neurology and the University of Missouri- Kansas City. He is currently writing a book on gambling addiction treatment techniques to be published by Wylie Press.

Dr. Rambeck is an advisor to the American Academy of Health Care Providers in the Addictive Disorders, and he is a founding member of the Minnesota Department of Human Services Gambling Program Advisory Committee.

In addition to treating gambling addiction, Dr. Rambeck also specializes in long-term therapy with depressive disorders.
