Clinical Psychologist, CAS-Emeritus
Dr. Rambeck was a clinical psychologist and certified addiction specialist who pioneered the treatment and training of gambling disorder in the United States. After receiving specialized training from Dr. Robert Custer in 1988, he integrated gambling treatment into his Minnesota-based private practice.

For over a decade, Dr. Rambeck delivered accredited clinical training on gambling disorder to mental health professionals across the U.S. and Canada, including institutions like Hazelden and Tulane University School of Medicine. He also advised state mental health departments and served on the Minnesota DHS Gambling Program Advisory Committee.

In addition to his work in gambling addiction, Dr. Rambeck specialized in long-term therapy for depressive disorders and contributed significantly to the field as an advisor to the American Academy of Health Care Providers in the Addictive Disorders.
"Special thanks to Dr. Rambeck for his time and insight on the pathological gambler. I really have used his insight and therapy tools with my patients. I would recommend the course to anyone wanting to get into the gambling addiction field."
