Lynn John Rambeck, Psy.D, CAS

Dr. Rambeck earned his Doctor of Clinical Psychology from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology in Chicago. He received specialized training in disordered gambling from medical director, Robert Custer, MD, at Taylor Manor Hospital in Baltimore, then began treating gambling disorder in his Minnesota-based private practice.

For over a decade, Dr. Rambeck delivered accredited clinical gambling-specific training to mental health and addiction professionals across the U.S. and Canada, including Hazelden and state agencies in Georgia, Minnesota, South Dakota, Michigan, and Arizona, as well as five Canadian provinces.

He has also trained university and medical school staff, including at Tulane University Department of Psychiatry and Neurology and the University of Missouri–Kansas City. Dr. Rambeck served as an advisor to the American Academy of Health Care Providers in the Addictive Disorders and was a founding member of Minnesota’s Gambling Program Advisory Committee.

In addition to gambling treatment, he specialized in long-term therapy for depressive disorders.
